PosterBay MakerHub is a Bengaluru rapid-prototyping and branding studio. We print wall décor to order for people who want something on their wall, and we build prototypes, MVPs, and small production batches for founders trying to get a physical product out the door.
How we got here
No pivot story, no garage myth. Just work that kept expanding into the next thing people asked us for.
PosterBay.in starts on the ground in Bangalore
We began selling posters offline — markets, direct sales, word of mouth. Customers kept asking for their own designs printed, so custom work became a core part of what we did rather than a side request.
MakerHub is added
The same customers who wanted custom posters started asking for objects. We added 3D printing and built MakerHub around early-stage founders — prototypes, MVPs, and the small production runs that sit between a single sample and a factory order.
Incubation, first investment, and a registered company
We were selected into an incubation programme with Prometheus Projects Private Limited and raised our first investment. PosterBay MakerHub was incorporated as a private limited company and registered for GST — the studio became a business with paperwork behind it.
Our mission
To make physical production accessible to anyone with an idea. A founder in Bengaluru shouldn't need a factory, a minimum order of 5,000 units, or three months of lead time to hold the first version of their product. We keep the batch small, the price quoted upfront, and the turnaround measured in days.
Our vision
A country where making something is as ordinary as printing something. We want PosterBay MakerHub to be the workshop early-stage founders reach for by default — and the place people go when they want an object that was actually made for them, not pulled off a warehouse shelf.

Handles operations, client projects, and the founder side of the business — the briefs, the quotes, and getting batches out the door on time.
Nothing burned. Nothing dumped.
Print-on-demand means we only make what's ordered, so there's very little waste to begin with. What we do produce — failed prints, supports, offcuts — gets sorted by material and sent to recyclers equipped to handle each stream properly. It costs us more than a skip would. We think that's the point.
